Yesterday was a day of excursions to Cosmic Communities nearby. Jana and Lucy (who is visiting Adelaide from the Mulch Pit in Darwin) dropped in on Pete and Colleen at the family farm on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Mandy went with the grandkids to an Open Garden Day at Sophie's Patch in the Adelaide Hills.

Pete and Colleen raise a glass while Lucy plants a rosemary bush, in remembrance of our dear friend Wendy - the inspiration for so much of all of our gentle living.
Lucy and Jana brought home a bigger-than-our-heads heirloom broccoli from Pete and Colleen's and popped it right into the pan. Delicious and mild, but flavoursome.
Jana's turn to plant a rosemary remembrance bush for Wendy, part of the overall garden scheme that includes rosemary and lavender, and espaliered pear trees all around the edges of the garden.
